Bob Ybarra
In 2002, my wife Sandi and I sold our home in Aliso Viejo (South Orange County) and purchased our home in Sugarloaf in 2003. We were weekenders for three years. In 2006, we became full time valley residents. In November of 2007, I began working at Bear City Glass, where I am currently employed. My main duties are inside sales and customer service.
Once I became a full time resident, I began attending all of the valleys community meetings, including the monthly Recreation and Park District meetings. I have seen many positive changes over the last few years under Reese Troublefield's leadership. We now have The Ranch, two skate parks, upgraded and renovated parks, and I believe the Paradise Park project will be a reality sooner than later.
On November 17, 2009, I was appointed to the Advisory Commission by third District Supervisor, Neil Derry. I truly consider it a privilege to serve our valley in this capacity. I look forward to working with the Park District's Staff and my fellow Commissioners to assure that our young people have the very best facilities and activities available to them.
